About Us

Located between Auburn and Montgomery, Alabama, Martingayle Plantation is the perfect venue for a variety of events. Known as a working farm in Shorter, AL., and owned by the Jones family since 1999, The venue boasts an antebellum home that was built in 1836. The rooms are filled with timeless antiques and display a quaint southern charm. This historic home was once used as a hospital during the Civil War. You and your guests will have total privacy as the venue is surrounded by over six hundred fifty private acres. Not only are large pecan trees towering over the yard, but a large sixteen acre pond sits behind the main house serving as a background for photos.
